Sad Astronaut

I apologies for another in a string of depressing posts, but on March 30th 2005 a great drummer Derrick Plourde left this world. Derrick was a brilliant drummer who played in many of my favorite bands. The Ataris, Lag Wagon, the Mad Caddies and, and Bad Astronaut just to name a few. Stop by http://www.derrickplourde.com/ and tell him you miss him.

In related news, a new BAD ASTRONAUT album "Twelve Small Steps, One Giant Disappointment" will be released near the end of the year. Check out their myspace

A truly amazing drummer; one of my all-time favorites. The work he did with early Lagwagon was tremendous.

I had Hoss cranked on the ride home from work last night and I think I almost roke my steering wheel drumming along with it.

I meant to say broke not roke. I don't even know what roke is. I should really read these over before I post them.

I think that roke is the past tense of rake, as in "I roked the leaves yesterday."

Okay, I was just trying to help you out, there.

I was listening to Lagwagon last week too. I didn't realize that I should have been though, I just was.

It sucks when people die.
