GET OFF MY GRASS!!!

We're going to take a quick trip in the way back machine back to June 27th of this year. That's when this post should have been written you see, but because I was either busy with the new place or just lazy, I didn't get around to it until now. Suspend your disbelief and pretend with me that it is the end of June, summer isn't almost over, and I have just mowed my lawn for the first time.

Now I have mowed many many lawns in my life and hated every sweaty, grueling, miserable second of it, but now that it is my own lawn I find some sick pleasure in doing so. The smell of freshly cut grass and the way the clippings stain my chucks green make me feel ALL tingly inside. I still despise it mind you, but not as much as I did back in middle school because now it's my yard. I own it, and if I want to stand out in the middle of it every morning to greet the new day wearing nothing but my boxers, It's my God given right as a homeowner to do so.

Anyway, it has been rather dry this summer so the grass doesn't grow to much, so on that particular day in June I was mostly mowing weeds which apparently don't need water to grow. When your lawn is 75% weeds it just looks bad when they get too long. I take pride in my lawn and those weeds need cutting. Perhaps next year I will water the yard with Gatorade to encourage growth and prevent weeds (It gots electrolytes, what plants need)

I guess that story wasn't really worth waiting two months for, but there will be more like it in the next coming days. Be prepared to be disappointed. Eventually I will take you ALL on a virtual tour of the new place, but for now you'll have to wait. Come back on Thursday and I will tell you ALL you ever wanted to know about Ants.

Damnit all. I've been promising a virtual tour of my house for well over a year. If both you and the CDP beat me to it, I'll have to actually do it.

You better get on that.

It actually may take me over a year to do it myself, the way I break promises.
